Saxon Switzerland National Park Region
To get a first overview of the area and the National Park, we recommend visiting our National Park Centre in the town of Bad Schandau. The smaller, non-central information centers in the National Park, however, focus on individual topics and answer questions that may arise while hiking through the local scenery: the historic Amselfallbaude between Rathewalde and Rathen, the Brand log cabin near Hohnstein, the Eishaus on the Great Winterberg, the Schmilka info point, the Beizehaus and the Blockscheune in the outdoor area Waldhusche in Hinterhermsdorf and the old Schweizerhaus (Swiss House) on the famous Bastei bastion invite you to linger and reflect, experiment, hear, smell, touch, ….. . Our advice: Especially attractive for children are our active offers in the Amselfallbaude and Waldhusche Hinterhermsdorf.
