Public fire and barbecue places in the National Park
Since there is a general ban of open fires in bivouacs in the National Park, hikers have kept asking for alternatives where the coziness of a fire can be experienced under the open skies. This wish was fulfilled with the construction of public fireplaces in the National Park. The spots were carefully selected according to safety criteria. As they are equally well accessible to visitors, the National Park Watch and the fire department, they are largely safe. Visitors of these fireplaces agree to comply with the following terms of use:
Generally: No fire in the National Park, only at the fireplaces fires are allowed up to forest firehazard risk level 2.
