An easy hike with a special focus on the history and cultural landscape of the Saxon Switzerland. We climb two table mountains on the left side of the Elbe, Papststein and Kleinhennersdorfer Stein, have opportunities for easy and safe climbing and take a look into rock caves (with flashlights).

Three stones, three caves, three Boofen in one tour

Through the devil's kitchen - a legendary tour
A hike through a wild and romantic landscape with national park guide Ulrike Schwenke. We experience a day hike in the valleys of the Saxon Switzerland between Wehlen and Rathewalde. Taking it to the limit on a multi-day hike: Are you travelling with a rucksack for the first time or do you want to prepare for your next big rucksack tour? How does my rucksack fit? Lilienstein - Symbol of Saxon Switzerland

Wesenitz - river and quarry hike
In the picturesque valley of the Wesenitz, we hike through former quarries, pass many mills and a big monument for a musician. We can imagine the difficult conditions under which the sandstone for many large buildings far beyond Saxony was and is extracted. If we are lucky, we can watch the colourful kingfisher or the merry dipper.

At home with wolf & lynx
Are they actually real, the truly wild animals in the national park? Where, if not here – you may rightly ask. It is supposed to exist here, nature untouched by humans. Accompany a volunteer for the monitoring of lynx and wolves in Saxony on a search for traces. Prepare for longing howls, satisfied purrs and surprising episodes.
