Legal fireplaces
in the national park
There are nine legal fireplaces for campfires in the national park. When using these, the following rules apply:
- Fire is prohibited everywhere in the National Park, except at these nine places.
- Only use wood you have brought yourself, do not take wood from the national park.
- Do not leave the fire site until the embers have been completely extinguished.
- No overnight stays.
It is not necessary or possible to book in advance. We ask you to behave considerately during your stay.
If you discover fires or smoke in places other than the authorised fireplaces, please call 112 immediately. If you come across people lighting a fire in the national park, please try to persuade them to put it out. Otherwise you should call 112.
