On current topics such as forest fires, waste, voluntary work, and the influence of humans on the behaviour of wild animals in the protected area.
How to reach us
Many climate-friendly international train connections lead to the Bad Schandau National Park railway station. From there, and while hiking, the coordinated and sometimes synchronised train, bus, boat, and Kirnitzschtalbahn railway timetables are a great help. The car is still the main means of transport. However, especially on the long holiday weekends in spring and autumn, it comes up against the narrow limits of the road network in our mountain region – You can expect traffic bottlenecks.
