Forestry work in Berggießhübel forestry district

From 1 January until probably 31 March 2026, forestry work is taking place in the Berggießhübel forestry district. In the area to the west of the "Dorfstraße", near Katzenkopf and Buchenhübel, logging is taking place until probably mid February. In the area to the east of the "Dorfstraße", towards Raum, the forestry work takes place until the end of March. Affected hiking paths are O-Weg, Nasser Hau, Zweiweg, L-Straße, Bärleitenweg, Bärweg and Schwertflügel. There is a danger to life in the closed areas, please observe the closures signposted on sight.
