Closure of Neumannmühle parking space
After a break in the construction work in Großer Zschand, the closure will continue from 15 August until approx. 30 September 2026. There will also be construction work around the bridge over the Kirnitzsch from 10 August until the end of October.
From 10 August, a part of the Neumannmühle parking space will be closed as it is needed as a storage area for the construction work. From 15 August, the Neumannmühle parking area is completely closed. We therefore recommend using public transport or planning hikes with other starting points. The Neumannmühle, Buschmühle and Zeughaus restaurants remain open.
From 15 August, the hiking trail in the lower area of the Großer Zschand may be impacted by the construction work. No full closures of the hiking trail are planned, but please always respect the construction work.
