Schindergraben closed

The city of Hohnstein has closed the Schindergraben between the restaurant in Polenztal valley and the Bärengarten/Halbenweg on 1 August 2026. The Malerweg diversion leads via the hiking trail between the houses of the restaurant and then Paul-Mai-Weg – Schulberg – Marktplatz – Rathausstraße – Bärengarten – Halbenweg. The diversion is about 800 m longer and takes around 15 minutes longer.
